Templates

Sites in Cascade have four default page templates: Homepage, Full Width, Left Navigation, and News Article. Each template has unique parameters that govern its usage.

Homepage Template

Assigned to the main index page in the root folder, the homepage template features a default alternating grey background for each component.

Full Width Template

Designed for components to span edge to edge within the main container. This template offers maximum flexibility, making it perfect for landing pages and visually-driven content.

Left Navigation Template

Designed to offer clear structural navigation for pages under a parent index page, this template uses components within the default container. Ideal for pages that rely on heavy navigation to ensure an easy user experience.

News Article Template

Designed to display articles with a consistent layout including a headline, author and publish date. The template adopts the left navigation of it's parent folder
